I assume Firefox has a profile directory somewhere. Firefox runs normally with f.lux in this account. I use Office for Mac (Insider Fast build) on a late 2016 Macbook Pro 15 inch touch bar, with High Sierra installed, and Outlook, Excel, Word all forces the switch to the discrete graphics card instead of the integrated graphics, seems to me outlook or word doesnt have enough power with a Intel HD Graphics 530 GPU. Really weird, but possibly useful: Created a generic user account. Good diagnosis, and yes, as soon as you do anything with 3D enabled in a guest, the switch from 'Integrated' to 'Discrete' is triggered. Used "Refresh" option in Firefox: Did nothing. vmanvman wrote: I have gfxCardStatus installed, so I can see the discreet card enabled as soon as I start VirtualBox, so I believe it is being used by the Windows 10 guest. All other apps I use work (including Safari) continue to work normally with F.lux. The behavior occurs when using Firefox (70.0.1 or one iteration earlier). Using the latest beta does not change this behavior. I don't recall making any changes to my machine during that time. The behavior I reported started suddenly last week with the version of F.lux I've used for at least a year. gfxCardStatus is an unobtrusive menu bar app for OS X that allows MacBook Pro users to see which apps are affecting their battery life by using the more power-hungry graphics. The behavior: Any event in Firefox (mouse click, new tab, etc) causes the screen to go to the MacOS system profile (which I calibrated about a year ago using the Mac utility) gfxcardstatus high sierra rx vega frontier geforce now pc download geforce gtx 1080 amp extreme nvidia gtx 1060 review amd firepro d500 benchmark gpu mali t720 ibuypower 1080 ti imac 27 video card arctic cooling accelero l2 plus gaming pc 1080 ti gt 760 ti gt 970 ti 1060 6gb amp 1060 3gb 6gb gaming pc gtx 1070 i7 mali gpu pc i5.
